We are delighted to announce the award of the Derby Hospital Chiller Change Project, which involves replacing and upgrading the hospital’s chilled water system to deliver dependable and efficient climate control for vital healthcare spaces.

The scope of work covers connecting to existing boosted cold water supplies, installing new looped copper pipework to maintain continuous flow, and providing a fully prefabricated modular plantroom built at The POD. This plantroom, equipped with all necessary internal pipework and insulation, will be lifted onto the hospital roof, alongside pre-fabricated pipework spools and new chillers. All elements will be seamlessly integrated with the hospital’s existing systems to NHS standards, with careful coordination to minimise any disruption to daily operations. This project highlights JA Brooks’ dedication to delivering innovative, efficient, and patient-centred engineering solutions for the healthcare sector.”
